Are you tired of reaching for the clicker to lower the sound when the commercials come on???
Advertisers record these commercials at a higher volume than "normal" volume of the regular programming.
I thought this was now illegal. I called my TV stations and complained often with no results.
Maybe all viewers need to call their local TV station and remind them of the new law about maintaining sound
levels when TV programming changes to advertising and back to TV Programming.
ONE thing I now do is switch the channel when these blasting TV commercials come on. And usually, I
find another station to watch with different advertisers. SO Advertisers need to be aware that if one person
is switching channels when their blaring TV ADS come on, then quite possibly tens of thousands of viewers
are either switching the channel or even lowering the sound level to zero. That TV Commercial then becomes a wasted ad-impression.
Advertisers wise up and record your ads ay normal sound level or lose potential buyers.
And that's the way I see it...

Geico Insurance TV ad insults Chicagoans
Have you seen the Geico TV ad that uses a sub, sub-set accent of a few people from the south side of Chicago that was developed by Saturday Night Live years ago. It is embarrassing to everyone who lives in Chicago. I for one will toss any Geico mail directly into the shredder.
They should have researched this accent before airing this TV ad.
That's the way I see it ...
