Have you seen the Pizza Hut TV ad where the child says: Winning isn't everything???
His team lost whatever game they were playing. The coach is taking them to Pizza Hut as a reward.
In life there is no reward for losing. That is a lesson every child must learn.
Getting a trophy for coming in 10th place is wrong.
It teaches children that being a loser has rewards. Losing has no rewards.
Losing is suppose to say that you have to do better.
And winning is its own special reward - with or without a pizza party afterwards.
And that's the way I see it...
